ATTRIBUTION — the d/BASIC conformance corpus The 96 listings in this directory are the BASIC programs of David H. Ahl's "BASIC Computer Games" (Creative Computing, 1978), as transcribed and maintained by the coding-horror/basic-computer-games project and dedicated to the public domain by that project's contributors under the Unlicense (LICENSE.txt). One root .bas per game, chosen by shortest basename. Each listing is reproduced byte-for-byte; only the file name changed (01_Acey_Ducey/aceyducey.bas became 01_Acey_Ducey.bas), and PROVENANCE.json records the original path for every one. Licence separation "BASIC Computer Games" is © 1978 David H. Ahl and its individual program authors. The Unlicense is a dedication by the transcription project's contributors of their transcriptions; it is not a grant by the book's authors. These files are shipped as public-domain transcriptions and are kept separate from d/BASIC's own MIT-licensed code.
